Join Us This Sunday for Worship

10:30 am

School starts next week and that means another opportunity to pray God’s blessings on the neighborhood schools. We will be greeting area high school students Tuesday and Wednesday morning as they make their journey to and from Larkin High School. When they stop at our Hospitality Tent, they’ll be met with some goodies and info.

We’ll have copies of Life Book as well as the Life of Jesus. We want to encourage students to do their best in school so we’ll have a rather unusual drawing for over thirty gift cards for McDonald’s, Subway Sandwiches, or Starbucks. Our encouragement will be in the form of five verses from the Book of Proverbs which speak to valuing education.

Not to be left out, we’ll take our goodies—literally—to the kids of Highland School at their afternoon dismissal on these same two days. For safety sake, we stay across the street from the school, and speak to the kids only when an adult is with them. We’ve prepared goodie bags with Scripture activities, pencils, erasers, pencil sharpeners, and of course—some sweet goodies to make the trip home a better one :)

We want to help people find and follow Jesus!

We are a rebirthed church with a renewed mission of preparing people to spend eternity with Jesus.

We are located in a wonderful neighborhood on the west side of Elgin on one of the city's busiest streets.

About Our Church
What's A Church About?
A Place of Love and A Place of Sharing

“Jesus replied, ‘The most important commandment is this: ‘Listen, O Israel! The Lord our God is the one and only Lord. And you must love the Lord your God with all your heart, all your soul, all your mind, and all your strength.’ The second is equally important: ‘Love your neighbor as yourself.’ No other commandment is greater than these.’” (Mark 12:29-31, NLT)

“Therefore, go and make disciples of all the nations, baptizing them in the name of the Father and the Son and the Holy Spirit. Teach these new disciples to obey all the commands I have given you. And be sure of this: I am with you always, even to the end of the age.” (Matthew 28:19-20, NLT)
